Accurate Results With Mixers
EESIFLO OIL & GAS INTERNATIONAL provide unique stand alone oil monitors for water fraction monitoring of oil that have been designed to use low power two wire systems that are safe to use in hazardous areas.
They are certified for use in Zone 0 or Class 1 Div 1 . The company has pursued and obtained additional certification that meet European pressure equipment directives and has begun the process of meeting CRN for certain States in Canada. Although part of the supply to regular hydrocarbon applications is traditional standard water cut monitors, we also specialize in the production of complete systems that enhance the accuracy and repeatability of water /oil measurement for companies who have greater concerns regarding the return on their investment.
The standard oil monitor is very often shipped with slightly longer lengths than normal. This is because of the addition of an integral oil mixer upstream of the dielectric sensing elements. The upstream mixing makes sure that the water/oil mixture is homogeneous before it is measured. The integral static mixer will cancel out the effect of something known as “bottom water” . This particular oil monitor configuration is of great benefit to oil companies who have previously been unable to detect or monitor correct levels of water in oil using other systems which do not consider the basic fundamentals in hydrocarbon process – fundamentals such as separation.
